Accepting Peace Youth Venture

This year, the street team collaborated with Youth Venture. This organization is meant for helping youth start their own non-profit organization or venture. Our idea is to create more unity among students which will help reduce peer pressure, gossip, and tension between cliques. This will help students accept one another,which will help students not feel the need to do certain things to be accepted. 

As a starting point, we will be going to Friday Forum at Rosie's Girls summer camp. This forum will be used as an opportunity to learn how to facilitate discussion regarding acceptance, diversity, and issues related to peer conflict. We are excited about this opportunity because we will soon be able to take what we learn and bring to schools and other camps. WE ARE BRINGING PEACE TO YOUR FACE.
